2015 Postgraduate Scholarship in Latin Studies in UK
2015 Postgraduate Scholarship for international Students, Newcastle University is offering a postgraduate scholarship for UK, EU and international students. Scholarship is an award of £1,000 for one full-time student who is undertaking a dissertation on a Latin-related subject as part of one of the following programmes of study: MA Classics and Ancient History, PhD (first year of study). Application Procedure: Students who wish to be considered for this scholarship should write to Professor Jakob Wisse giving: (1) the title of their proposed project; (2) a brief outline (of at most 200 words) of their proposed research; (3) their plans/expectations for funding their studies. This applies both if you have already received an offer of a place for one of the programmes listed above, and if you are planning to apply for such a place; in the latter case, you should have applied for a place by 1st June.
