Students traveling from outside the United States to attend New York Tech have some unique but easy-to-follow requirements regarding financing their education:

• You will need to provide an Affidavit of Support and a bank statement, both notarized, demonstrating your financial support.
• New international students will not be charged tuition until they arrive on campus and register for courses. All students receive their tuition bill online through the Student Service HUB—Your Home for University Business—accessible by logging in to my.NYIT Portal. You can deduct any scholarship amount you are awarded from you tuition bill and pay the remainder online by check, money order, or credit card—or apply for a convenient monthly payment plan. While international students are not eligible for federal or state aid, New York Tech offers academic scholarships to international students that may cover partial tuition. There is no separate application for scholarships. When you submit your application and supporting documents, the admissions committee will review your file for admission and for scholarship eligibility. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will receive an official award letter after you receive the acceptance package. Scholarships are awarded upon admission to New York Tech, not after you arrive and enroll at New York Tech.
