The AUB Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program offers full scholarships to exceptional students who meet the following criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for The American University of Beirut Scholarship

To be eligible for AUB’s Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is essential.
• Eligible Countries: Citizens of Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros, and other African countries are eligible to apply. Additionally, refugees and displaced individuals living in Lebanon can also apply.
• Academic Transcripts: Provide official university transcripts for all educational levels.
• Graduate Application: Submit the online graduate application.
• Recommendation Letters: Include two recommendation letters.
• Language Tests: Depending on your program, you may need to take the IELTS or TOEFL for English proficiency. GMAT is required for MBA applicants, and GRE is required for some majors in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
• Application Fees: Pay the application fees, which amount to $50 or L.L. 75,000.
