The Diploma of Accounting at TAFE NSW helps you study budgets, financial forecasts, tax documents, and accounting tasks using accounting software, including MYOB. You learn how to use Microsoft Word and Excel for accounting purposes, manage budgets for businesses and corporations, prepare tax documents for individuals and companies, and develop financial forecasts. You also study how to process complex payroll transactions and apply legal principles to accounting.

TAFE NSW states the Diploma of Accounting is made up of 11 units of competency, including 7 core units and 4 specialty units. • Successful completion of the following units as evidenced by your transcript: FNSACC321 Process financial transactions and extract interim reports; FNSACC322 Administer subsidiary accounts and ledgers; FNSACC418 Work effectively in the accounting and bookkeeping industry; FNSACC421 Prepare financial reports (which is the equivalent version of BSBFIA401 Prepare financial reports)
