TAFE NSW’s Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) MEM60122 prepares you for engineering related careers in the manufacturing, mining and mineral processing, oil and gas, and automotive industries. You study project management, engineering design, computer aided drafting (CAD), and mechanical calculations.
The course combines theory and practical coursework. TAFE NSW states that at the start of your course you receive your timetable, and you study all core units and additional units. Achievement requires competence in thirty (30) units of competency: all seven (7) core units, up to eight (8) general elective units from Group A, and at least fifteen (15) specialist elective units from Group B to bring total elective units to twenty-three (23).
