The Diploma of Human Resource Management BSB50320-01 is a nationally accredited diploma that prepares you for work as a human resources professional. TAFE NSW says you will learn how to use empathy and resilience to maintain employee engagement and performance, and how to help businesses adapt to rapidly changing environments.

TAFE NSW states the course uses a mixture of theory and practical course work. You complete 12 units of competency, including 7 core units and 5 specialty units. This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.

• Completion of four units from the Certificate IV in Human Resource Management: BSBHRM411 (Administer performance development processes), BSBHRM412 (Support employee and industrial relations), BSBHRM415 (Coordinate recruitment and onboarding) and BSBHRM417 (Support human resource functions and processes), or equivalent competencies, as evidenced by a copy of your transcript. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units, which have been mapped as equivalent. Or
• Have two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience, as evidenced by a copy of your resume
