Diploma of Information Technology Cyber Security and Advanced Networking Ict50220

TAFE NSW’s Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security and Advanced Networking) (ICT50220-19) trains you to build cyber security expertise. You learn to identify cyber security threats and link them to enterprise needs, design, build and manage secure enterprise systems, and assess an incident response plan. You also cover ethics and privacy in ICT settings and collecting forensic data.

The course uses a mixture of theory and practical course work. It includes core units and specialty units, with 20 units of competency required in total: 6 core and 14 specialty units. You must complete the listed core and specialty units successfully to meet completion requirements.

This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.

• Successful completion of the Certificate IV Cyber Security or equivalent during the last 5 years, as evidenced by a copy of your certificate or transcript, or
