TAFE NSW’s Diploma of Information Technology (ICT50220-01) focuses on networking, programming, cloud computing, and cyber security. Students learn to apply IP, ethics and privacy in ICT environments, and diagnose and resolve client ICT issues. The program also builds skills to lead teams and educate others on cyber security risks and safe practices at work.
The qualification is nationally accredited at diploma level. Students complete 20 units of competency, including 6 core and 14 specialty units. The course uses a mixture of theory and practical course work. Specialty units are packaged by TAFE NSW and may vary by location, so students are recommended to check their preferred campus.
