Diploma of Music Creation and Composition Cua50825e

The Diploma of Music (Creation and Composition) at TAFE NSW has a focus on electronic music production. Students strengthen technical skills to compose, record, create albums, work on live shows, and explore audio post-production. The course covers creating original music using a computer, building freelance business skills, and understanding copyright.

TAFE NSW structures the program around core units and additional (elective) units. Students study all core units and a range of additional units, with a total of 4 core units plus 12 elective units. The timetable is provided at the start of the course. Students complete units that cover composing, music technology, screen composition, sound design, performance technology, editing, and mixing.
