The Diploma of Renewable, Sustainable and Circular Manufacturing Management from TAFE NSW teaches you to implement sustainable practices and circular economy principles to reduce waste and improve industrial efficiency. It also covers how to integrate renewable energy such as solar PV, wind and hydrogen into manufacturing, and how to manage renewable energy projects, including planning, delivery and impact assessment.

You study through a mixture of theory and practical course work. The diploma is structured around completing 16 units of competency, including 10 core and 6 specialty units. Learning includes evaluating energy data, understanding MES and SCADA, and applying technologies such as IoT, automation, advanced materials and digital systems. This course leads to a nationally accredited VET Diploma (AQF 5).

• This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.
• You must demonstrate the following:
• You currently work in a relevant industry, shown by a letter from your employer or a copy of your resume
• You're able to complete learning and assessment tasks that relate directly to your workplace duties.
• You must also: live in NSW as your usual place of residence.

A Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills test. You’ll need to achieve a score of Level 4 across the three bands of learning, reading and oral communication. You’ll need a Level 3 across two bands of writing and numeracy. And you’ll need a Level 2 for digital literacy.
