Diploma of Screen and Media Radio and Podcasting Cua51020

TAFE NSW’s Diploma of Screen and Media (Radio and Podcasting) helps you strengthen your radio and podcasting knowledge using industry-standard sound and editing equipment. You develop skills to present on-air, record sound, develop storylines and content, and produce programs and program segments.

The qualification includes core units and specialty units across theory and practical course work. You build a portfolio with radio/podcasting projects, conduct interviews, and work toward safe creative practice. Learning includes editing digital video and producing on-air programs, plus sound production and editing units such as Record sound on location and Edit sound.

This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.

• Successful completion of Year 12 of high school, as evidenced by a copy of your higher school certificate or
• Successful completion of a Certificate IV qualification from TAFE NSW as evidenced by a copy of your transcript or certificate, and
• Before your first day of class you must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills test and achieve a score of Level 4 in Writing and Oral Communication, Level 3 in Numeracy and Level 2 in Digital Literacy.
