Diploma of Spatial Information Services Cpp50221

The Diploma of Spatial Information Services (TAFE NSW) helps you build spatial information technical expertise using software and data skills. You learn to capture, create and analyse spatial data, integrate spatial datasets, and develop 2D and 3D terrain visualisations. You also complete project work and work with industry technology such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

The qualification requires successfully completing 15 units of competency, including 7 core units and 8 specialty units. Units are a mix of core and packaged specialty units, with note that not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. The course includes both theory and practical course work.

• Develop spreadsheets for spatial data (CPPSSI5060)

This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.

• Extensive working experience in the spatial information services industry, as evidenced by your resume OR
• Successful completion of the Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services, as evidenced by your academic transcript
