The Diploma of Sport, Aquatics and Recreation Management at TAFE NSW helps you build skills to lead teams and manage sport, aquatics, and recreation facilities. You learn to manage work health and safety policies, analyse participation patterns, develop engagement strategies, and plan and deliver coaching sessions and a major sport recreation event in a team.

The qualification is nationally accredited and includes 17 units of competency, made up of 7 core and 10 speciality units. You study through a mixture of theory and practical course work, and you provide evidence to your teacher during your study.

TAFE NSW says this diploma can be used as a stepping stone to enter university courses and prepares you for opportunities in your chosen field.
