Diploma of Sustainable Practice He20517v01

The higher education Diploma of Sustainable Practice (HE20517V01) is aligned with research by the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) on the knowledge and skills needed for sustainability professionals. The course helps students embed sustainability and sustainable practice in organisations through knowledge, confidence, and transferable skills to design, develop, implement, and evaluate frameworks and programs.

Delivery combines theory and practical course work. Students learn to understand sustainable practices, identify sustainability trends and opportunities, collect and analyse sustainability data, work with internal and external stakeholders, and evaluate and report a sustainability agenda. Completion requires successfully completing 8 subjects (80 credit points), made up of 8 core subjects.

This course leads to a Higher Education Diploma and prepares students to assist with achieving professional ISSP certification. It is for learners who can show evidence of previous experience or study and who have no ATAR requirement for entry.

• A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent or
• A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent or
• A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification or
• At least one year of completed full-time study in a degree course at a higher education institution

Note: Your certificates, transcripts and other entry requirement evidence must be certified through a Justice of the Peace or other authorising officer

You do not require an ATAR score for entry into this course.
