Ali Chan Scholarship

The Ali Chan Scholarship is supported by the Banna Foundation in memory of Ali Chan. It aims to support high achieving students looking to enter the construction or building industries.

To apply, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa. You must be enrolled in one of the listed courses, including Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with specified civil engineering majors, and selected degrees in construction project management, property economics, or architecture.

You must be in the second year of an eligible degree (minimum of 36 Credit Points or equivalent) at the time of applying, with a minimum Distinction average (75 +) in your first year. Selection is based on what you demonstrate in your scholarship application, and an interview if required.

Support lasts Two (2) years. Eligible applicants are presented to the Scholarship Selection Committee, which selects Recipients using the stated selection criteria. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

• Apply for this Scholarship online using the UTS Scholarship Application Form
• May need to be available to attend an interview in person at the discretion of the selection committee
• Late or incomplete applications will not be considered

• Duration: Two (2) years
• Number of recipients: One (1) recipient
