ANU Chancellor's International Scholarship

The ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship offers multiple scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Australian National University. The stated purpose is to attract a diverse range of international students to commence study at ANU. The scholarships are distributed into nine categories, with at least one category applicable to students from anywhere in the world.

Applicants are automatically assessed in the nine categories based on citizenship. ANU states that applicants are assessed first for the highest-value award for which they are eligible. The scholarship applies to any eligible program except Doctor Of Medicine and Surgery (MChD) and Master Of Military and Defence Studies.

Selection is based on academic merit. ANU states that qualifications submitted for admission are converted to a common scale to determine an applicant’s place on the merit list. Where applicants have multiple qualifications, ANU states they are ranked according to the qualification used as the basis of admission.
