ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship in Australia (Fully Updated Guide)

The ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship offers multiple scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students, funded to attract a diverse range of international students to commence study at ANU. The scholarship is distributed into nine categories, with at least one category applicable to students from anywhere in the world, as listed in a reference document on the webpage.

Applicants are automatically assessed in the nine categories based on citizenship, and ANU states that applicants will always be assessed first for the highest-value award for which they are eligible. The scholarship is for study in eligible programs only, excluding Doctor Of Medicine and Surgery (MChD) and Master Of Military and Defence Studies.

Selection is made on the basis of academic merit. Qualifications submitted for admission are converted to the common scale to determine an applicant’s place on the merit list, and eligible applicants with multiple qualifications are ranked according to the qualification used as the basis of admission.

The scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction applied towards tuition fees for the duration of the undergraduate or postgraduate degree. It also includes accommodation for the first year of study if recipients choose to take up the accommodation benefit. Continuation is based on full-time study load.
