ANU Doherty funding for International Students

The Doherty Scholarship (Clinical) is offered by the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR). It is intended to attract students with clinical qualifications to pursue graduate research involving a clinical research project for a PhD degree at the JCSMR. The field of study is Medical Sciences.

The scholarship is for Domestic and International students at postgraduate research (HDR) level. Selection gives preference to Australian or New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents of Australia, while international students are also considered. It is focused on clinical qualifications and graduate research for a PhD at JCSMR.

Selection is based on academic merit. Eligibility is described as students of high calibre with clinical qualifications, with preference given to Australian or New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents of Australia, and international students considered as well.
