ANU Tall Foundation Scholarship in Archaeology

The Australian National University (ANU) may offer the Tall Foundation Scholarship in Archaeology. The stated objective of the award is to support students and to inspire them to undertake additional research and study in this field. Funding is provided by the Tall Foundation, with donors described as ANU alumni with broad interests in Archaeology.

The award is for students in the field of Archaeology. Eligible applicants are domestic or international students who are enrolled in the first semester of an Honours program in Archaeology, or who have met entry requirements and received an offer of admission to an Honours program in Archaeology, or who are enrolled in the first semester of the thesis component of a Master (Advanced) program in Archaeology at ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Selection is based on academic merit. Ongoing eligibility for continuation is based on academic performance.

The award duration is for one year, with payments made for program duration. Payments are made in equal instalments after census date each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer. The recipient is responsible for paying all tuition fees by the prescribed date set out by the University each session, and is responsible for costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study.

• Value: $5,000 per annum
• Paid in equal instalments after census date each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer
• Recipient responsible for making payment of all tuition fees by the prescribed date each session
• Recipient responsible for costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study
