Bond University Transformer Scholarship , Australia (50% Tuition Reduction)

Bond University’s Transformer Scholarship is awarded to those with high potential to affect real change through participation in the Transformer program. The Transformer program is described as a co-curricular program that enables students to work in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams on projects spanning multiple semesters, supported by Bond academics and staff, industry experts, mentors, and other resources.

The scholarship is available to domestic and international students applying for undergraduate or postgraduate study who have not yet commenced at Bond University. It applies to any undergraduate degree, including approved combined programs up to 320 credit points (excluding the Bond Medical Program), and to postgraduate degrees (excluding research degrees). Scholarship study is stated to commence in the following January semester.

Eligibility requires strong leadership skills, community involvement, and demonstrated potential to affect change, along with extensive involvement in extracurricular activities, and meeting the entry requirements for the chosen program. Applicants must complete both the Bond University Study Application Form and the Bond University Scholarship Application Form, submit supporting documents, and submit a short video pitch. Applications must be submitted before the scholarship closing date.

As a Transformer Scholar, recipients are awarded up to 50% tuition remission and are required to actively participate in and complete the Transformer program during their academic degree program. Participation is described as commencing immediately with academic studies. Suspension of participation for academic or other reasons results in termination of scholarship funding, and recipients must comply with Bond’s general scholarship terms and conditions.

1. Complete the Bond University Study Application Form to lodge an application for the chosen program.
2. Complete the Bond University Scholarship Application Form using the same log-in details as used for the study application, and enter 'scholarship' in the keyword field on the 'Start an Application' tab.
3. Submit the scholarship application before the application closing date (no late scholarship applications are considered).

• Evidence of leadership, initiative, and service to school and/or community.
• For undergraduate applicants: use the Summary of Achievements template, complete all sections, and upload it as one Word or PDF document; the evidence must be provided in this template form (not a personal CV or resume).
• A school reference: provide the career advisor’s details so Bond can request a reference; required for high school leavers only.
• For postgraduate applicants: a personal statement outlining why the applicant has applied for this scholarship.
• For postgraduate applicants: a copy of the personal CV or resume.
• A short video pitch of the applicant uploaded to YouTube for online viewing, with an accurate URL submitted in the application.
• The video pitch must be no longer than 5 minutes; videos longer than 5 minutes will not be considered.
