The Leo Howard Memorial Bursary Scholarship at University of Queensland

The University of Queensland offers the Leo Howard Memorial Bursary. The scholarship was established in by a bequest from the late Leo Howard and funds raised by his friends to augment his bequest for the purpose of creating a suitable memorial.

It is aimed at current UQ students who are domestic or international and are enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Honours/Master of Engineering, or an Engineering dual program.

Selection considers financial hardship and academic achievement. If shortlisted, the scholarship may arrange an interview, and the outcome is emailed to applicants.

The scholarship duration is 1, and the number awarded is 1.

• Scholarship value: The Associate Dean (Academic) will determine the value of the scholarships each year
