The University of Queensland Australia - UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships

UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is part of the UQ Academic Scholarship Program. The scholarship is maintained by funds from The University of Queensland and donors, and it is described with a focus on academic excellence.

• Complete Year 12 in the specified years stated by the scholarship (for applicants on a gap year, as described)
• Meet at least one citizenship/residency condition: Australian citizen; Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder; or Australian Permanent Resident; New Zealand Citizen; or international student completing or having completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia
• Have not completed any previous tertiary study other than as part of Year 11–12 studies (e.g. Enhanced Studies Program)
• Applied for a tertiary place through QTAC and have UQ listed as the 1st QTAC preference as at 12:00pm on Monday (date specified on the page)
• Intend to enrol as a full-time student in a UQ undergraduate program in the specified intake years stated by the scholarship (including if deferring a tertiary place)

1. Prepare your QTAC Application number.
2. Prepare evidence of your most outstanding achievements from Years 11 and 12 in the areas of leadership and community service.
3. Submit one application, which is used to be considered for all scholarships under the UQ Academic Scholarships Program.
4. After applying, wait for email acknowledgement of receipt; if no email is received within 2 days, email [email protected].
5. If eligible upon release of ATAR (or equivalent), you will be notified in writing of your award.
