University of Wollongong Australia AGRTP Scholarship

The Australian Government Research Training Program Award (AGRTP) is a stipend intended to cover some living expenses. The AGRTP are funded by the Department of Education and Training.

The AGRTP is available to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, or Australian Permanent Residents. University of Wollongong allocates a limited number based on merit and offers it to Doctoral and Master of Philosophy candidates only. It is available across the listed faculties and study areas, for domestic students including current and future students.

University of Wollongong allocates the limited number of AGRTPs based on merit each year.

Support lasts for three and a half (3.5) years full-time for Doctoral candidates and two (2) years for Master of Philosophy candidates. Successful students are expected to commence their AGRTP in the Autumn session following application. Stipends are indexed annually.
