Western Sydney University Project Scholarships

Project Scholarships provide a stipend and other benefits to support higher degree candidates undertaking research in a predefined project.

Applicants are required to submit an Expression of Interest for review by the relevant School or Institute, and the available project scholarship listings are updated on a monthly basis.

Western Sydney University requires an Expression of Interest (EOI) submission to allow time to submit a full application, and only full applications submitted before the scholarship closing date are considered.

Support details are provided under individual listed projects, including tax-free stipends for domestic and international candidates and additional support for conference attendance, fieldwork, and additional costs as approved by the School/Institute; other project-specific requirements appear under each listed scholarship.

1. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for review by the relevant School or Institute.
2. Submit the EOI at least 5 business days before the scholarship closing date to allow enough time to submit your full application.
3. Submit a full application before the scholarship closing date; only full applications submitted before the deadline will be considered.
