Dr. Anwarul Abedin Scholarship for female Undergraduate Students

The Dr. Anwarul Abedin Scholarship for female undergraduate students is established in honor of the late Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American International University–Bangladesh, Dr. Anwarul Abedin. It is intended to support female students’ access to university education. The scholarship covers only tuition fee at 100% for qualified students every regular semester, Fall and Spring, based on the number of slots declared by the Scholarship Committee, with (One per faculty).

Selection is for undergraduate female students only, with criteria tied to academic performance and university standing. The requirements include CGPA and grade thresholds, full-time/full-credit enrolment with a defined credit range and no semester gap, and certifications related to conduct and good character issued by OSA. The scholarship also requires membership in an AIUB club and active participation in department/course extra-curricular activities.

Eligibility and renewal are handled through assessment of the stated criteria, including maintenance of CGPA and other conditions every regular semester. Renewal depends on keeping the CGPA and the other criteria prescribed above. In cases where a student qualifies for scholarship in more than one category, the student is entitled to the option with the higher percentage, and one student can receive scholarship in only one category.

• Certification of Active Participation in Department/Course Extra Curricular Activities (evidence of activities such as volunteer, organizer of seminars/workshops/competitions).
• Membership in an AIUB club (evidence of membership).
