Sports Scholarships are a scholarship category offered by American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) as part of its Scholarships (tuition fee waiver only) and Financial Aid Policy. The purpose of the policy is to help deserving students bridge the gap between education cost and their financial resources. The sports scholarship is awarded to students who participate in sports activities for the university.

Sports Scholarships are awarded to a selected number of students based on their sports category contribution. The percentage of the tuition fee waiver is decided by the Scholarship Committee based on the applicant’s contribution in the sports category, and the student must also demonstrate financial need.

Selection is based on the applicant’s contribution in the sports category as assessed by the Scholarship Committee, and on the applicant demonstrating financial need.
