Need-based Scholarship

Metropolitan University offers need-based financial assistance described as a 20% tuition fee waiver for the wards of freedom fighters, linked to the Private University Act (Clause 9.4) and given as a mark of respect to freedom fighters of the War of Liberation and Independence.

This tuition fee waiver applies to wards of freedom fighters who are at least 3% of all students admitted in each semester. The tuition fee waiver continues if the recipient’s CGPA in each semester remains 2.70 or more.

Selection criteria and how recipients are chosen for this need-based tuition fee waiver are not described beyond the admitted-student proportion condition and the CGPA continuation requirement.

The tuition fee waiver is continued semester by semester only while the recipient’s CGPA remains at least 2.70 in each semester.

1. Applications for scholarships are invited one week after the publication of the results of each semester.
2. Submit the scholarship application within two weeks from the date of the announcement.
3. No applications are accepted after the deadline.
