Bachelor of Management Sustainability

Mohawk College’s Bachelor of Management – Sustainability is a three-year applied degree that combines business education with sustainability leadership and hands-on experience. Students study sustainability accounting, carbon management, sustainability business cases, project management, environmental policy, regulations, and research skills. Learning also includes areas such as environmental science and sustainability, management, social impact, communication, leadership, governance and policy, and data analytics and reporting.

The program uses experiential learning through case-study analysis, real-world application of learning, an industry-based capstone project, and a work-integrated learning term. Core technical knowledge is taught through instructor-led labs in carbon accounting and assessment. Students complete a capstone project that may involve partner organizations and complete a 420-hour mandatory degree work experience in the field of sustainability.

OSSD or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) Grade 12 University (U) or university/college (M) courses including:
Grade 12 English, U level
Grade 12 Mathematics, U level
The average of the six required courses must be 65% or higher
Post-secondary courses in math, English or communications, physics, chemistry, and biology can be applied toward the above requirements

Or:
The successful completion of an Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, Degree, or equivalent

Recommend but not required:
Grade 11 Environmental Science (SVN3M)
Grade 11 or 12 Biology, U Level (SBI3U, SBI4U)
Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry, U Level (SCH3U, SCH4U)
Grade 12 Science, University/College Preparation (SNC4M)

Options are available for mature applicants.

• IELTS – Academic: 6.5 (no band below 6.0)
• TOEFL – 90 iBT (with a minimum score of 22 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking, and 24 in Writing)
• Duolingo - 115-120 (no band below 105)
