The Mohawk College “Bachelor of Technology Partnership: Combined Degree/Diploma Program” helps students earn “a university degree, a college advanced diploma, a certificate in business management, and twelve months of work experience in four and a half years.” Students apply engineering principles through three BTech streams: Automation Engineering Technology, Automotive & Vehicle Engineering Technology, and Biotechnology.
The program includes more than 750 hours in lab settings. A 12-month required co-op is part of the structure, and students can complete co-op anywhere in the world. Mohawk College states that 25 per cent of the curriculum is devoted to management courses.
Graduates enter roles in automation, vehicle and systems engineering, and biotechnology-related work. Mohawk College lists top employers for each stream, including Rockwell Automation, General Motors, Honda, Roche, Sanofi Pasteur, and McMaster University.
