Bachelor of Technology Partnership Degree Completion Program

Mohawk College’s Bachelor of Technology Partnership: Degree Completion Program is a “diploma to degree” program for college graduates who want to upgrade their education and further their careers. Students select one stream: Civil Engineering Infrastructure Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Power and Energy Engineering Technology, or Software Engineering Technology.

Students enter Level 3 and earn the degree by completing 24 courses, including 7 management courses. All courses are offered during evenings and Saturdays at McMaster University or online. Software Engineering Technology courses and exams are offered fully online, allowing students to complete their degree remotely. All programs include eight months of co-op work.

The program supports upward career mobility or further education. B.Tech. graduates are described as prepared for promotion to management-level positions and roles in engineering, project management, and supervisory roles that require a technical background. Career opportunities listed include project manager, software developer/engineer, and electrical controls engineer, depending on stream.

Students are required to have a minimum cumulative average of 75% in their Advanced Diploma for the Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Power and Energy Engineering Technology and Software Engineering Technology streams, and a minimum cumulative average of 80% for the Civil Engineering Infrastructure Technology stream. Note: You must submit transcripts for all post secondary work that you have completed (at a university or college in Canada or internationally), including education in any field completed prior to or after your advanced diploma.
