University of Toronto Canada STARS21 Fellowship Program

Strategic Training in Transdisciplinary Radiation Science for the 21st Century (STARS21) is a competitive, year-long training initiative run by the University of Toronto. The program is designed to develop the next generation of global leaders in translational and transdisciplinary radiation medicine. STARS21 provides specialized training in translational radiation science, workshops in leadership, communication, and team science, and a multidisciplinary learning community.

STARS21 is open to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and clinical fellows. The call describes a general stream and an alternate stream for clinical fellows and residents, with different application timelines for each stream.

Applicants must first submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). Top-ranked LOIs are invited to submit a full application.

The program duration is described as late September/early October through May. Successful applicants receive stipend or travel support.
