UWindsor Open Entrance Scholarship

The University of Windsor is offering the Global Conflict Relief Bursary to provide financial support to students who have been significantly impacted by a global conflict and whose ability to continue their studies at the University of Windsor is jeopardized. The bursary is funded jointly by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) and the University of Windsor.

The bursary is open to current students from any country, domestic or international, who are full-time or part-time. Applicants must be in good academic standing and must have demonstrated good citizenship through community and/or campus involvement.

Students are required to describe their personal story of how they have been impacted by a global conflict. Their response must reference academic achievements and community/campus involvement, and must outline how the bursary will assist them with meeting their overall financial and academic objectives. Students must also consent to the MCU Consent and Notice of Disclosure statement.

The bursary is valued at $10,000, and the University of Windsor lists # of Awards as 10. This bursary may be tenable with other university or donor-sponsored awards.

2. Complete the questions related to the student’s profile.
3. On the final page, review the populated list of available awards.
4. Apply for the bursary via the award results page if the student meets the criteria above (the award appears in the “application” section for eligible students).
5. Consent to the MCU Consent and Notice of Disclosure statement is required.
