Scholarship Description: The Canon Foundation in Europe offers Research Fellowships for individuals to carry out research in Europe and Japan. This fellowship is available for European and Japanese nationals.

The Canon Foundation is a philanthropic, grant-making institution, active in the promotion of international cultural and scientific relations between Europe and Japan.

Candidates should have obtained at least their Master’s degree within the last ten years. Non-nationals should have permanent citizenship in either Europe or Japan.

Degree Level: Fellowships are available to pursue research.

Study Subject: Research can be conducted in all subjects. Applications in all research fields are allowed.

Scholarship Benefits: Fellowships are awarded for a minimum of three months to maximum one year

Eligible Nationalities: This fellowship is available for European and Japanese nationals. Non-nationals should have permanent citizenship in Europe or Japan.

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:

English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
