BUCT China Beijing Government Scholarship for International Students

Beijing Municipal Government has established the “Beijing Government Scholarship for International Students” for Beijing University of Chemical Technology to encourage and provide financial assistance for outstanding international students to pursue degree programs of higher education. The scholarship is for students who are meticulous and highly motivated and are currently studying at the university level in China.

Students are considered under award types that align with academic level: undergraduates, master students, doctoral students, and advanced students. All Degree Programs are available, as stated by Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and students are directed to the student prospectus and the Degree Programs section under Admission.

Selection is based on an assessment organized by the School of International Education according to the application materials submitted online. Beijing University of Chemical Technology also notes that passing the annual review will ensure scholarship benefits for the following academic year.

The scholarship duration is stated as 3/4 years. The award provides tuition fee support on a yearly or half-year basis depending on the student level, and benefits continue after annual review. The scholarship includes remission of tuition fees and provides coverage listed under tuition fee, accommodation fee, stipend, and insurance.

• Must be an international student currently studying at the university level in China.

• Students who have been granted the “Chinese Government Scholarship” are not eligible for consideration for this scholarship.
• Undergraduates, master students, doctoral students, and advanced students are eligible under the stated award types.
