Jiangsu University China Link Scholarship

Jiangsu University China Link Scholarship is described as the China Link Short-term Scientific Exchange Scholarship Program carried out by China Scholarship Council (CSC) in. Jiangsu University is named as one of the host universities. The stated purpose is to deepen academic friendship and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign young generations and to build a platform for exchange of scientific research young talents.

The program has two funding categories: General scholar for current undergraduates or postgraduates, and Senior scholar for current Ph. D candidates or faculties. The duration is listed as 1–12 months, with the requirement to start studying in China no later than August 31,. The working language is English or Chinese depending on the program, and study/research fields are all disciplines other than Chinese language study.

Applicants submit applications through the JSU Online Application Portal. After JSU Admission Office reviews the application, applicants complete the CSC online application in the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System and upload supporting documents. CSC then notifies the scholarship admission result to JSU, and JSU notifies applicants and prepares an Admission Notice and visa application form.

Successful applicants receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay in China, including tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and a monthly stipend. The stipend amount is CNY 3,000 for general scholars and CNY 3,500 for senior scholars.

• Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically.
• Be under 45 years old applying for general scholars.
• Be under 50 years old applying for senior scholars.
• Register as full-time student or employed as full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner university by the time of application and throughout the proposed stay in China.
• Study/research fields must be all disciplines other than Chinese language study.

1. Submit the application on the JSU Online Application Portal before 1 April 2026 (http://admission.ujs.edu.cn/).
2. After JSU Admission Office reviews the application, log into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System to complete the CSC online application and upload supporting documents. Use JSU code 10299 and select Type B for this program.
3. CSC notifies the scholarship admission result to JSU.
4. JSU notifies applicants and prepares the Admission Notice and visa application form.
