Zhejiang Normal University Scholarships

Zhejiang Normal University Scholarship for Outstanding Students is launched by Zhejiang Normal University to attract outstanding students to study at the university, create a favorable and international cultural environment on campus, improve the university’s international reputation, and encourage foreign students to work hard and get well-rounded. The page lists three scholarship categories for new international students: Type A covers full tuition fee (no monthly stipend), Type B covers half of the tuition fee (no monthly stipend), and Type C provides 4500 RMB.

The page states that if admitted students cannot arrive on time, they should inform Zhejiang Normal University on paper and explain the reasons by 15 days before the registration day; otherwise, the scholarship will be canceled and cannot be applied again. Students who fail the entrance physical examination will not receive the scholarship.

• Applicants should be friendly and healthy with foreign nationality and passports.
• Applicants should observe disciplines and obey laws.
• Applicants applying for programs taught in Chinese must provide HSK Certificates or other Chinese language proficiency certificates.
• Applicants applying for programs taught in English must provide IELTS, TOEFL or GRE Certificates, or other English language proficiency certificates.
• Applicants must have no other scholarships.
• Applicants must submit a no criminal record document.
• Applicants must submit a no drug addiction statement.

2. Zhejiang Normal University will review applicants’ qualifications and select applicants based on the selection process.
3. If admitted, pay 400 yuan or 70 dollars as a registration fee.
4. After admission, admission documents including the JW 202 Form and Admission Notice will be posted.

• Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (download available at http://iso.zjnu.edu.cn/wpplicationwwocuments/list.htm), covering all items on the form; incomplete records or missing required signature/stamp/sealed photograph are invalid.
• Notarized highest education diplomas attained, proof of study, and transcripts (translated into Chinese or English, with confirmation of the former school or local department).
• Studying plans and goals.
• Two letters of recommendation from teachers.
• No criminal record.
• Bank statement.
• No drug addiction statement.
• Certificates of Parents' Nationality.
• Language proficiency certificate.
