Master of Nursing

Master of Nursing is a 2 years Masters program taught at Edith Cowan University, . The program is offered in campus-based modes with full Time and part-time options. To successfully obtain Master of Nursing from Edith Cowan University you are required to complete 240 credit hours. It is desirable that all applicants have completed study in a science related subject at WACE - general or ATAR level.

All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

• AQF Cert IV;
• Successfully completed 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent);
• Special Tertiary Admissions Test;*
• University Preparation Course;*
• Indigenous University Orientation Course;*
• Aboriginal University Readiness Assessment; or*
• Experience Based Entry Scheme.*

Students will undertake core units of study related to clinical leadership and management, global health issues, chronic condition management, clinical education, health practice evaluation, and evidenced based practice and research design. Students also complete two core elective units providing an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in an area of their interest.
