Flinders University of South Australia’s Bachelor of Computer Science prepares students to build strong foundations in programming, algorithms, and systems, then branch into areas including AI, data science, cybersecurity, and software engineering. Students study core topics such as Programming Fundamentals, Software Engineering, Database Modelling, Networks and Cybersecurity, and Cloud and Distributed Computing.

The degree is delivered in person at Tonsley and the City. It is structured across Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3, and includes an industry placement. Year 3 includes a 12-week Industry Placement, plus Software Testing and QA and Theory and Practice of Computation.
