Master of Philosophy
Introduction
The University of Adelaide’s Master of Philosophy is a 100% research-focused degree. Students plan, design, and complete an independent research project in an area of personal interest and relevance to their field. The degree is self-directed, with no classes or coursework requirements, and students complete progress milestones to stay on track.
Students develop a substantial thesis or creative work and exegesis. The program includes an oral examination of the thesis or creative work and exegesis to a panel of examiners, guided by an experienced research supervisor. Study is a mix of online and on-campus, with an approximate duration of 2 year(s) full-time.
This degree is only available to International students. Part-time study is not available for international students, and the campus location may vary depending on the area of research.
