Introduction

Peace & Conflict Transformation Studies is a Bachelor program taught at Canadian Mennonite University, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies (PACTS) is a BA that helps students understand human conflict and consider ways to respond to conflict and violence that promote peace. CMU analyzes interpersonal and international conflicts from an interdisciplinary perspective, with courses in Psychology, International Development, and Communications and Media, among many others. Students develop an understanding of the roots and nature of conflict, violence, and peace.

PACTS explores topics such as violence, justice, power, culture, and dispute resolution from multiple perspectives. Students also reflect on their own beliefs and worldviews as they consider how they can work for peace. CMU states that small class sizes facilitate working in close collaboration with fellow students and faculty.
