Technologie d'analyses biomédicales

Technologie d'analyses biomédicales is a program taught at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Technologie d’analyses biomédicales trains students to develop an appropriate process to analyze samples of all kinds. Students learn lab safety practices, the handling of equipment and specialized devices, and how to produce clear, concise reports that support physicians in establishing medical diagnoses. The program also covers concepts from medical specialities such as histopathology, hematology/hemostasis, biochemistry, microbiology, and blood banking.

Cégep de Saint-Jérôme describes the program as practical. From the 3rd session, students complete 6 stages in a hospital setting. The program also leads to employment as a medical technologist with the Ordre professionnel des technologistes médicaux du Québec and provides a pathway to university programs where the admission threshold is the DEC.

The minimum requirements for admission in Technologie d'analyses biomédicales at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Cégep de Saint-Jérôme.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Cégep de Saint-Jérôme as pre-requiste for admission in Technologie d'analyses biomédicales.
