Inhalothérapie

Inhalothérapie is a program taught at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Inhalothérapie program at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme trains students to understand anomalies and pathologies that affect a person’s cardiorespiratory functions. Students learn to administer appropriate care and to use the required equipment to treat patients of all ages. As an inhalotherapist, students work in a team with other nursing and medical staff, including physicians, anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, and physiotherapists.

The program includes clinical immersion and learning in a professional context. Students complete practice-focused activities in new laboratories dedicated 100% to practical work. It also includes an immersive interdisciplinary simulation activity coordinated by the Department of nursing.

The minimum requirements for admission in Inhalothérapie at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Cégep de Saint-Jérôme.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Cégep de Saint-Jérôme as pre-requiste for admission in Inhalothérapie.

This program is for applicants who are Dynamique, Rigoureux, able to manage stress, fit to act in an emergency situation, and able to adapt quickly to the unexpected. Applicants should enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team, supporting others’ well-being, working in health care, finding solutions, being in the middle of action, and exercising a valued profession with varied tasks.

• Applications are handled by the Service régional d’admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM).
• For the autumn term, the admission application for the first round must reach the SRAM before the 1er mars.
• For the winter term, the admission application must reach the SRAM before the 1er novembre.
• Admission outcomes are admis or refusé.
• After admission, students must create an account on the Omnivox platform.
