Introduction

Engineering is a program taught at College of the Rockies, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (8 months full time) options.

Engineering at College of the Rockies is a first-year Engineering Certificate. Students study science, math, and engineering through the provincially recognized first-year common core curriculum. The program covers analyzing and designing systems, and planning, building, and maintaining the structures that power industry, with connections to engineering specializations across civil, mechanical, computer, chemical, engineering physics, and more.

College of the Rockies delivers the program as full time, on-campus (face-to-face). Students complete the first year within 8 months and use small class sizes, expert faculty, and institutional supports while meeting transfer requirements for partner institutions. The certificate is designed to satisfy Year 1 requirements of undergraduate engineering programs at UVIC and UBC and includes a block transfer agreement with University of Victoria.
