Diploma in Hairstylist
Introduction
Hairstylist is a Diploma program taught at College of the Rockies, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 year) options.
College of the Rockies offers a Hairstylist Foundation Program to prepare students for a career as a hairstylist. Students work with hair services such as shampoo, cut, curl, straighten, colour, streak, and styling. The program also supports client service through suggesting hairstyles to suit a client’s features and offering beauty advice for a client’s best look.
The Hairstylist Foundation Program is a 43-week full time program with an on-campus (face-to-face) delivery method. Students do not need an employer to take the program; College of the Rockies says the main reason is to gain experience and knowledge about the hairstylist trade to find an employer more easily.
