École de technologie supérieure, Université du Québec offers the program at full-time and part-time study regimes. The program includes three mandatory paid internships, each lasting 4 months, plus course credits between 115 and 120 credits depending on the reception profile and concentration courses, and 27 stage credits outside the program that are mandatory. Students use laboratory equipment in areas such as electronics, computer-assisted engineering, telecommunications, programmable circuit design, micro-fabrication, and electrical machines.

The program is taught in French. It is structured as a first-cycle degree (1er cycle) leading to a Grade of baccalauréat en ingénierie, B. Ing. Admission is for students who apply to ÉTS Montréal, and the program is described as not contingenté.

The minimum requirements for admission in Baccalauréat en génie électrique at École de technologie supérieure, Université du Québec for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
