Diplômes d’études supérieures spécialisées (D.E.S.S.) is a Masters program taught at École des Hautes Études Commerciales, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.

HEC Montréal offers Diplômes d’études supérieures spécialisées (D.E.S.S.), a short graduate program with in-depth expertise in a specific management domain. Teaching combines in-person and distance learning. Pedagogy includes concrete application in participants’ work settings using case studies, simulations, role plays, and oral presentations. The program is available part-time and full-time.

HEC Montréal also states that some D.E.S.S. can provide a pathway to a master’s degree, under conditions. Students may also have professional experience and school achievements recognized through a study project using recognition des acquis et des compétences (RAC). Courses are delivered by specialists with solid experience, and students can access HEC Montréal’s Service de gestion de carrière and an alumni business network.
