Bachelor's in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE)
Introduction
Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) is a Bachelor program taught at Mount Allison University, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at Mount Allison University brings together three disciplines to study the meaning of citizenship, how government works, the nature of justice, and the outcomes of economic systems and policies. The program uses philosophy, politics, and economics tools to examine often conflicting ideas about what is good for people and what happens when these approaches are used in practice.
PPE is available as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) major (with credits in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) or a BA honours, with an emphasis in philosophy, politics, or economics. Most required courses are at the first and second-year level, with special topics courses offered in upper years. Students can also take a fourth-year PPE seminar with Dr. Casey Pender and access L.R. Wilson internships in public service and public policy.
