Post-Degree Diploma in Information Technology Management
Introduction
Post-Degree Diploma in Information Technology Management is a Masters program taught at Northern Lights College, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.
Northern Lights College’s Post-Degree Diploma in Information Resources Management is for students who already hold a minimum three-year degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field. Northern Lights College says the program prepares graduates for careers that require a combination of managerial, financial and IT education and experience, with a focus on the role of information technology in the financial process.
Students gain an understanding of how to integrate IT principles with financial oversight practices, implement and safeguard financial data, and understand risk management and compliance in decision making.
Northern Lights College also states that the program equips graduates with skills to protect confidential data and understand how to protect the integrity of organizational IT infrastructure.
The program includes required and elective courses, totals 61 credits (915 hours), and can be completed in four semesters, with a possible fifth semester during the May-June intersession period depending on start-date and academic progress.
