Introduction

Doctor of Medicine is a PhD program taught at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Intake: MaySeptember. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (6–7 years of enrolment) options.

The University of British Columbia Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy (MDPhD) is an integrated program jointly offered by the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

UBC says its purpose is to combine medical school experience with intensive scientific training for careers as clinician-scientists in a chosen field.

The program is designed so students can receive the Doctor of Medicine (MD) and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees after successful completion of six to seven years of enrolment.
