Introduction

Floral Design is a program taught at University of the Fraser Valley, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 year) options.

The University of the Fraser Valley offers a Floral Design certificate in creativity and design. Students study the art and business of flower arranging, using fresh, treated, and dried floral products. The program covers fundamentals of flower arranging and also advanced techniques for work in the floral industry.

The Floral Design certificate is part time and delivered in person. The duration is 10 months, with the option to complete the program over multiple years. Classes run Mon and Wed evenings, and the program includes six modules, each delivered through 10 sessions with two evening sessions per week for five weeks.
